Angelsvista platform is an integrated solution providing capabilities normally only available by cobbling together disparate point solutions from multiple providers. The functions of Domain Name Servers, Content Delivery Networks, memory caching and distributed database management are all part of the comprehensive Angelsvista platform. The platform makes use of geo-weighting for close proximity routing to the nearest Angelsvista site to ensure minimal latency and exceptional response time for the user.

The platform is currently optimized for applications built using the open source LAMP application stack; including PHP, Perl and Python. As a fundamental element of the Angelsvista software engine, the inherent features of the LAMP stack are optimized to take advantage of application self-awareness that detects high traffic volumes or site unavailability to dynamically and automatically route around problems and ensure always-on availability.

The Angelsvista platform is basically different from other infrastructure implementations in that it spans geographic regions. By doing so, the Angelsvista platform eliminates the single-point-of-failure risk inherent in single datacenter hosting configurations. Even with a backup site, any outage in a typical hosting scenario can cause a delay in failover of up to 12 hours per occurance. This means that your application will work even if part of the platform encounters a catastrophic failure that would render a single site down for hours or even days.

Since Angelsvista built its next generation platform to run across multiple global datacenters, the software engine enables web applications to dynamically scale out across the global grid when loads increase and dynamically scale down when loads decrease. This entire scale-out process happens automatically and instantly when needed. As a result, the Angelsvista platform easily handles any volume of traffic, even wide fluctuations and abnormal spikes, by using the entire grid to seamlessly transmit the load.

Angelsvista is not just another implementation of virtualization technology.
